In July 2025, the guarantee measurement (GM) was performed on the TG1 generator installed at the Playas hydroelectric power plant in Colombia (operated by EPM).of generator at the unit TG1 installed at the Playas hydroelectric power plant in Colombia (operated by company EPM). The goal of measurement was to determine the efficiency of generator after its refurbishment (new stator, renovated rotor) made by company Andtritz.

The calorimetric method was used for measurement, evaluating both partial and total losses of the generator.

Although it was not possible to precisely set the contractually defined operating point of the generator in the electric grid, the recalculated results of both measurements variants demonstrated that the guaranteed efficiency of the generator was met.
